Sana Khan Bollywood Star Reveals Why She Donned Hijab After Hajj
Sana Khan, a Muslim actress in Bollywood, spoke about her decision to give up acting and
start wearing a hijab two years ago when she returned from her hajj pilgrimage a few days ago.
Khan, who is most known for her work on Bigg Boss 6 and Salman Khan’s Jai Ho,
admitted to occasional bouts of sadness and anxiety in an interview with India Today.
“I still remember from 2019 that around Ramadan, I used to dream about a grave.
I was able to picture myself inside a burning grave. She said, “Instead of seeing an empty grave,
I saw myself,” in a video that was uploaded to Instagram.
God’s way of telling me that I’m going to die because I won’t change the way I act.
I remember the quick change that was occurring. I used to listen to motivational
Islamic sermons when I was younger, and I remember reading something amazing one night.
Sana sobbed as she continued, “The message suggested that you don’t want your
last day to be your first day of wearing hijab.” It moved me.
The following day was her birthday, she remarked. I had already amassed a substantial collection of scarves by this time.
I put on the cap and scarf, telling myself, “I’ll never take this off again.” Sana and Anas Sayied were joyfully welcomed home by their family and friends after their Hajj pilgrimage.
She was pleased to embark on the pilgrimage as a transformed person. “I’m delighted I’ve changed,
” the woman remarked. “Now I won’t go back and take off my abaya (hijab) and throw it away.”
