1- Umrah will resume for locals
The Ministry of the Interior declared on Sunday that “the Umrah will be resumed progressively according to the COVID-19 situation.” According to reliable sources, Umrah will first be restarted for Saudi Arabian citizens, and even then, only in “restricted quantities.”
The source corroborated prior rumors that an application is being built that will allow
registration of the pilgrim’s preferred time and date for performing Umrah,
as well as a requirement for a negative COVID-19 PCR report.
If the prospective pilgrim meets all requirements,
an “Umrah permit” will be awarded. Celebrations In Two Holy Mosques
