Imam Hussain ibn Ali was a hero in Shia Islam. He was the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad through his daughter Fatimah and son-in-law Ali. Hussain ibn Ali was born in Medina,
Arabia (which is now a part of Saudi Arabia), in January 626, died in Karbala, Iraq,
on October 10, 680. Hindus Believe, Imam
(the first imam of the Shiah and the fourth of the Sunni Rashidun caliphs).
Shia Muslims hold him in high regard as the third imam,
following in the footsteps of Ali and Hussein’s older brother, Hasan.

You don’t have to be a Muslim to respect Imam Hussain’s character (RA).
It’s a model for all future generations,
and as the Holy Month of Muharram-ul-Haraam begins,
we want everyone to remember the events that had a huge impact on Islamic history. Today
we heard an amazing story about how a group of Hindus stood
with Imam Hussain (RA) at Karbala.

Indian Hussaini Brahmins claim that their ancestors went
to Karbala to help Imam Hussain (RA).

During the month of Muharram, Hussaini Brahmins in India
celebrate with processions and parades,
just as Muslims around the world.
All the details of the event are available in a variety of ways.
Supposedly,
the family that supported Hazrat Imam Hussain (father of Sanjay Dutt)
is also, Sunil Dutt.

The father of Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Dutt, has this to say:

When it comes to Lahore, I will do everything it takes to help,
just like my forefathers did at Karbala for Hazrat Imam Hussain,
and I pledge to do whatever is asked of me. SUNIL DUT T

It is correct to say that members of the Hindu community
take an active part in the processions.
The fact that they took part in the battle of Karbala and
offered their assistance to Imam Hussain is extremely motivational.
