A Kashmiri calligrapher named Mustafa Ibn Jameel set a new record by
writing the Islamic holy book on a scroll that is 500 meters long.
The job took him seven months to do.
The penman, who is 27 years old, said that it took him a few months to write the historic script.
He did this by using specialized pens and 85 gsm paper.
The width of the paper that he used was 14.5 inches, and its length was 500 meters.
Mustafa-Ibni-Jameel said that he would spend 18 hours a day preparing the hand-written manuscript during the time period.
His name will be in the book of world records and the lincoln book of records because of what he did.
