A Group Of Muslim Women Will Host A Multicultural Festival In Dublin
Next month, a group of Muslim women in Dublin will put on a multicultural
event to help bring together the Muslim community and the rest of Ireland.
On Thursday, August 4, the Muslim Sisters of Ireland will host a family fun day in Dublin’s Phoenix Park.
“It’s a way for people to meet up and talk over a cup of tea.
It’s a good way to bring people from different places together.
This year, the focus is on the children,” the group’s founder, Lorraine O’Connor, told Dublin Live.
“We want parents and kids from all walks of life to come and meet each other.
Having a lot of kids there will be great.
They don’t care about colour, race, or religion.“
The family fun day will have many different things to do,
such as face painting, clowns, entertainment for kids, garden games,
henna tattoos, community football, food, artisan booths, and more.
