Dua After Azan – It Is Sunnah To Recite This Dua

duafterazan

Azan is an Islamic prayer call. Adhaan or Azaan is an Arabic word.
word adhaan,
which means “announcement.” Five times a day, it is called
to summon Muslims to worship.

Having this Dua after Azan, on the other hand, is Sunnah.

According to the Sahih Bukhari, whoever recites this dua will receive the Syafaah

(intercession) of Prophet Muhammad PBUH on the Day of Judgment (Qayamah).

Allah SWT has created Islam as a very beneficial religion for all Muslims around the world

. And He provided us with several Prophets to guide us. However, it was Prophet Muhammad

PBUH who was always concerned about his ummah.

He (PBUH) showed us the paths that go directly to the gates of Jannah for the ummah.

One of those duas that allows you to grow closer to Jannah five times a day is the one below.

This dua should be memorized as well as recited to avoid missing any important moments.

Sahih al-Bukhari 614, as related by Jabir bin ‘Abdullah: Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) said,

“Whoever says, ‘Allahumma Rabba hadhihi-dda’ watit-tammah, was-salatil qa’imah,

ati Muhammadan al-wasilata wal-fadilah, wa b’ath-hu maqaman mahmudan-il-ladhi wa’adtahu’

Hadith On Listening To Azan With Proper Etiquette

Think about it.

It’s crucial to treat others with respect. Be present in the situation and

don’t be a distraction. We can be distracted by our phones and pals if

we put them both on the quiet. Some people feel that talking during Azan

is a sin, although this is not supported by any authentic hadith.

It’s plain logic; going to the masjid is a spiritual experience,

and being loud is never appealing.

After The Muezzin, Repeat The Process

The greatest thing to do when listening to azan is to simply repeat after the muezzin.

“Whenever you hear the Azan, say what the Mu’adh-dhin is saying,”

Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) stated. In-book reference: Book 10, Hadith 10 (Sahih al-Bukhari 612).

“When the Mu’adh-dhin said, “Haiyi ‘alassala (come for the prayer),”

Hisham said, according to some of my companions. “La hawla Wala quwata illa billah

(There is no might or power except with Allah),” Muawiya said, adding,

“We heard your Prophet say the same.”

In-book reference: Book 10, Hadith 11 (Sahih al-Bukhari 613).

“When you hear the Mu’adhin call for prayer, repeat his words and

then ask Allah’s blessings on me, since Allah will reward you with

ten blessings for asking Allah’s blessings on me once.”
