On Tuesday night, two people were shot and killed when they tried to rob a Muslim mosque in Kensington, Johannesburg. On Thursday, the police said that a third suspect had been caught during the failed robbery.
“While police were at the scene of the crime, an unknown person or persons started shooting. “Two people, including a police officer, were shot during the shootout,” a provincial police spokeswoman said.
“One suspect was arrested, and two cases of murder, attempted murder, and attempted business robbery have been opened for further investigation,” the spokesperson said.
