Surah Al-Waqiah Importance And Its Benefits

Surah Al-Waqiah is the name of
The 56th chapter of the Holy Quran.
Al-Waqiah is a word that means
“The Unavoidable.” It has three parts,
called Rukus It is made up of 96 lines,
379 words, and 1,756 letters.
It is called a Makki Surah because it was shown
to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Mecca.
It says so in Jeremiah 27.

History Of Surah Waqiah’s Revelation

Scholars of the Quran call Waqiah a Makki surah
because it was revealed in
Makkah during Muhammad’s time as a prophet.

Some experts assert that
some of them were revealed during
the Medinan era, though not all of it.
Some of these commentators point to verses 39–40, 81–82,
and 83 as being from the Medinan era.

It is found in the Quran’s 56th chapter,
which is not in the order of revelation.
The chapter comes after Surah Ar-Rahman,
which also covers related subjects.

When Is The Best Time To Recite Surah Waqiah?

The Surah takes no more than 5 minutes to recite,
making it extremely simple for the average person
to incorporate it into their daily routine.
The Ummah was advised
by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
to recite it every night. You can recite it between
Maghrib and Isha prayers, or before going to bed after Isha,
depending on your preference.

The benefits of Surah Waqiah are numerous,
and there are several hadiths that mention them.

1. Acquire Wealth

‘Surah al Waqiah is the Surah of Wealth,
so recite it and teach it to your descendants,’
said the Prophet (SAW). (From Ibn Asakir)

Islamic scholars say that people who read Surah Waqiah
and other surahs will be safe in both this world and the next.

it on the Day of Judgment will have a radiant face.

Wazaif Of Surah Waqiah

Surah Waqiah gives many blessings to help people get rich.
Only a few of the wazaif in surah Waqiah will change your life for the better.

• If you are poor, you should read the Surah Al-Waqia forty-one (41) times each day.
• If it is said on a grave,
  it will free the dead person from
  the pain of the cemetery. Reading 41 times at a single meeting will meet the requirement.
• If people pray after Isha at night, they will never be hungry.
  Allah will take care of
  them in ways that can’t be seen.

Why Reading Surah Al-Waqiah a Certain Number Of Times Is Important

Many people think that saying Surah Al-Waqiah 14/44 times
after Fajr prayer will help them get rich.
But neither the Quran nor the
Sunnah talks about such a thing.

To get the reward, you have to recite Surah Al-Waqiah,
which is in the holy Quran.
We can also read it to keep ourselves from being poor.
