Dua for Entering And Leaving Masjid
When we come to a place of worship, the first thing we should do is read the Du’a. This is a very important Sunnah of our Great Prophet, and it will also help us get a lot out of our time in the Masjid.
The Masajid are some of the world’s most important places. In fact, they are the most special places in the world, and we should be glad when we get the chance to go there.
When you go into a mosque, you should put your right foot first. The Messenger of Allah SAW said that you should enter the Masjid with your right foot first and say a prayer before you go in.
To leave the Masjid, it is Sunnah to step out with your left foot first and say a prayer.
We will go into the Masjid and spend time there in the hope that Allah will be kind to us,
and we will leave in the hope that Allah will bless us.

Dua for Entering And Leaving Masjid
A saying attributed to Abu Humaid As-Sa’idi has been
passed down through the generations.
When entering a mosque, one should pray “Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmatika”
(O Allah, open to me the gates of Your kindness) and then send peace upon the prophet.
And let him say, “Allahumma inni as’aluka min fadlika,” before he goes. (Please grant my request from Allah’s abundant resources.)
