Rabi Ul-Awwal Importance And Significance
Rabi’ Ul-Awwal is an important month on the Islamic calendar.
In this month Prophet Muhammad was born (PBUH).

What Is Rabi Ul-Awwal Mean?
“Rabbi” means “spring” in Arabic, while “al awwal” means “the first.”
So, when you look at Rabbi ul Awwal as a whole, it means “The First Spring.”
Since Rabbi al Awwal is a lunar month on the calendar, it can happen in any season.
Why Do Muslims Value Rabi Ul-Awwal?
Rabi ul-Awwal is regarded as important by Muslims since the following things happened this month: the birth of the final Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (saw), to whom the Qur’an was revealed.
The Prophet (saw) Hijrah, during which he moved from Makkah to Madinah. From this occasion, the Islamic calendar is calculated.
