 RIYADH — The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has mandated that

all Umrah firms and institutions must provide pilgrims with licenses

to enter the Grand Mosque for the purpose of doing Umrah and permits

to enter the Rawdah Sharif at the Prophet’s Mosque for the purpose of praying.

According to the ministry’s announcement,

Umrah organizations must also send pilgrims to the Grand Mosque

in Makkah at the designated times printed on their licenses.

Those who intend to perform a second Umrah while in Makkah

The ministry reaffirmed the significance of Umrah enterprises

and institutions adhering to the provision of integrated and

comprehensive services to pilgrims in order to raise and improve

the quality of services in the sector and to facilitate the journey for them.

In addition, it has stated that it is keeping tabs on service quality and

the company’s dedication to doing its part through comprehensive

automated monitoring and ongoing monitoring tours.

The Ministry acknowledged that it had instructed field

personnel at the sorting centers, which are situated near

the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, to monitor

any field violation and to take all the legal deterrent actions against

the violators in order to bolster the quality of the services.
