Muhammad was the second most common name for boys born in the Netherlands in 2022, according to new data from the Anadolu Agency.
According to data issued on Thursday by the Dutch Social Insurance Bank (SVB), Noah was the top name for newborn boys in the Netherlands last year, with 871, while Emma was the top girl’s name, with 677.
When the different spellings of the name were combined, Muhammad came in second place among infant boy names with 671.
