Karbala a total of 23 Asian, European and African nations have sent scholars and religious leaders to the conference, which includes the Seerah of Hazrat Zahra (AS).
The ceremony, which began on Friday, was arranged by the Astan (custodianship) of the sacred site.
In addition, there is a book and art exhibition set up in conjunction with the conference.
Ten papers will be presented in the research panel, according to, Sheikh Ali al-Qarawi director of the conference’s academic committee, who said that 113 abstract papers have been delivered to the event’s secretariat.
The papers, he claimed, contain information regarding Hazrat Zahra’s life, Seerah, teachings, and ideas (AS).
In a speech at the Conference, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalayi, the guardian of the holy shrine, referred to Hazrat Zahra (SA) as a complete role model.
Women and girls should study Hazrat Zahra’s (AS) magnificence and flawless character and take her as an example in all facets of life, he continued.
Sheikh Al-Karbalayi also mentioned that the Asian planned to hold an annual competition for the finest book, thesis, and tale written about Hazrat Zahra (AS).
A 12-person delegation of Iranian women Quran activists who were sent to Iraq by the Kawthar Foundation for International Quranic Activities of Women attended the international conference.
Throughout their visit to Iraq, the delegation has hosted a number of Quranic events in the cities of Karbala and Najaf.
