The Palestinian health ministry said that Israeli forces killed two Palestinians on Friday in the occupied West Bank.

Imad Abu Rashid, 47, was killed by the Israeli occupation after being shot in the stomach, chest, and head, the ministry said.

In a later statement, it said that Ramzi Sami Zabara, 35, had died “in Nablus from a critical wound caused by Israeli bullets to the heart.”

The Israeli army said in a statement that
it had learned that a military target near Nablus had been shot at by a moving vehicle.

“Soldiers doing routine work in the area saw two suspicious vehicles and shot at them, hitting them,

” it said, without saying if anyone had died.

Local sources said that the two men were members of the Palestinian Security Forces and came from the Askar camp near Nablus.

They were killed during a fight with the Israeli army at Huwara, south of Nablus.

This is the latest deadly event in Nablus,
where Israeli forces have been raiding frequently and making it hard to move around.

On Tuesday, an Israeli operation in the city killed five Palestinians.

The operation was meant to stop a new militant group called “The Lions’ Den.”

A group is a loose group of fighters who came together in the past few months,
around the same time Israeli raids on the northern West Bank jumped sharply.

A spokesperson for the army said this week that the group had done “about 20 terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and security forces in the past month.”
