World Cities Summit Will Include Madinah
A delegation to the World Cities Summit will also be led
by the mayor of Madinah and the CEO of the Al-Madinah
Region Development Authority, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Madinah will highlight a number of its also initiatives during
the summit aimed at enhancing both the visitor experience
and the standard of living for its also citizens. World Cities Summit
Projects aimed at humanizing cities and smart cities are also
both a component of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The city of Madinah intends to plant 1,3 million trees
and 2,1 million bushes by 2030 in order to improve it also
green area by 16,1 million square meters and lower
carbon emissions, according to the Green Initiative of Saudi Arabia. World Cities Summit
At the conference, Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority

As part of the WCS Smart Cities also Workshop,
Abdulrahman bin Hassan Ibrahim, executive
director of data and innovation at the Al-Madinah Region
Development Authority will introduce the Raseel platform. World Cities Summit
Every two years, the summit also organizes a high-profile
gathering where officials and business leaders may also discuss
urban sustainability issues and forge new relationships.
This year’s summit activities include the Lee Kuan Yew International Prize,
the Global Cities Trustees Forum, and the Workshop.
