Al-Jum’ah Mosque.

from Makkah to Madinah, is the Al-Jum’ah Mosque.

The prophet offered the Jum’ah, or Friday prayer, in the mosque

when he halted in the Wadi Ranuna area.

The Al-Jum’ah Mosque is also known as the Al-Wadi Mosque

and also the Atikah Mosque. Today it has attracts a large number of visitors

who come to offer their prayers because it is a historical location

that also played a significant role in Islamic history.

It is also located 6 kilometers from the Prophet’s Mosque and 900 meters

north of the Quba Mosque, southwest of Madinah, next to Wadi Rana.

 it was made up of rocks at first before being destroyed.

and again repaired. Additionally, the mosque was initially built on top

of a tiny hill, with one dome made up of red bricks. After then,

 650 pilgrims, it was also expanded and renovated.

The mosque also has a minaret and  a central main dome,

four smaller side domes, and a praying area..
