MADINAH (Saudi Arabia): Saudi officials have arrested PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf)
members for allegedly violating the sanctity of the Prophet (PBUH Mosque, )’s
and are ready to harshly punish the culprits.

 

150 people have been arrested and sentenced to
five years in prison,60,000 riyals in fines, and lifetime bans on
Hajj and Umrah for damage to the Prophet’s Mosque.

 

After a thorough investigation, those who screamed the slogans or Those who used offensive language are likely to be flogged and sentenced to life in jail. In Pakistan, the law governing Umrah and Hajj visas is set to be changed soon to include more strict conditions.

 

On social media, video clips showed the crowd following the
government team and yelling anti-ethical and immoral sentiments.

 

The Saudi authorities have also arrested Sahibzada Jahangir
nicknamed Chico and three other Imran Khan pals in connection with
allegedly chanting political chants and criticizing Masjid Nabvi together at Masjid Nabvi.

Following the arrival of the Saudi delegation last night, supporters of the PTI yelled slogans and battled with government authorities in Masjid-e-Nabawi. The Saudi government has apprehended the perpetrators.
