The ministry stated in the report, which was made public on the eve of the new year, that it has made significant efforts in the current year to promote moderate ideas and correct misconceptions and false views about Muslims on a global scale.

According to the report, the ministry sponsored numerous Quran competitions at the municipal, state, and international levels, as well as ones for foreign students studying in Egypt.

In 2022, the Awqaf ministry also sent over 100 prayer leaders and propagandists to other nations in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, and South America.

Holding Quran Contests 62 religious scholars were dispatched to 20 different countries throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

Other operations of the ministry included the translation and printing of 95 books on various religious topics as well as three translations of the Quran in Greek, Hausa, and Hebrew.

The report also stated that it arranged numerous religious and Quranic programs for individuals, including kids and teenagers, in more than 6,000 mosques.

The ministry gave religious and Islamic books to Islamic organizations and centers in a number of nations in 2022, including Ghana, Austria, the US, Switzerland, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Kuwait, Spain, Mauritania, Indonesia, and Tanzania, according to the report.

The Awqaf ministry of Egypt is in charge of planning, directing, and supervising religious and Quranic activities.
