Hajj Ministry Announces Alternative Planes, And Facilities For UK, EU, And US Pilgrims

 

RIYADH: It was announced on Wednesday by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah that it will

acquire alternate flights and give more seats for pilgrims from the United States, Great Britain, and Europe.

When pilgrims enter the Kingdom, visas will be “given soon as

part of the efforts” in collaboration with relevant authorities.

People who applied for hajj via a new electronic platform, Motawif, reported technical difficulties,

including not being able to access the limited number of seats on planes.

A ministry spokeswoman confirmed the assertion to Katie Jensen,

host of Arab News‘ weekly political chat show, Frankly Speaking.

According to the official spokesperson and deputy minister of Hajj & Umrah Services Hesham A.

Now that everyone has decided on a program, including the flying ticket,

“I can also assure you that everything is in order,” he said.

“They have the air ticket and everything is in order.”

This year’s Hajj season has yet to begin we also have ten more days until it does.

“We are solving it now, and Motawif company has already solved it also, and everything is now,

Inshallah, going very fine and smooth,” added Saeed during the interview,

which also will be broadcast in its entirety on Sunday, July 3.
