After Walking For Three Years, A Man From South Africa Reaches Mecca

 

Three years after he left South Africa to go to Islam’s holiest place,

Makkah, Saheed broke a record by walking there.

According to the report, the man went through several countries in Africa

and Europe before getting to his final destination.

After starting his trip on August 30, 2018, he walked through Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya, Sudan, Egypt,

and Palestine, where the COVID-19 border lockdown made him stop.

After the border was opened again, the 3e man kept walking through Jordan, Medina, and Mecca.

It took him more than a year to reach

Saheed, who lives in Cape Town, said he would walk back after the Hajj.

Soon after he got to Saudi Arabia, he talked to reporters about what he had been through.
