10 Things You Must Do During Jummah (Friday Prayer)

10 Things During Jummah Instead of the Zuhr petition, Muslims hold Jummah, a congregational petition on Friday just after noon. Muslims normally supplicate five times a day according to the skyway of the sun, regardless of time zones.

1. Nail Trimming

‘Five are the demonstrations of fitra (natural slant) according to Abu Hurayrah
(may Allah be pleased with him). 1) circumcision, 2) hair removal
from behind the navel, 3) mustache trimming, 4) nail trimming, and
5) hair removal from under the arms.

2. Surah Al-Kahf recitation

“Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on Friday will be lit with light between
the two Fridays, the Prophet (Sallallahu ályhi Wa Sallam) remarked
according to Abu Sa’eed al-Khouri. (Al-Haakim narrates; al-Albaani classifies it as Saheeh.)

3. Making a Dua

“On Friday”Allah accepts and answers all prayers; all honor and praise be to Him.”
This is one of the blessings that Allah has conferred on this day over
all other days of the week.[Bukhari 893 Muslim, 852]

According to Abu Huraira, Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him)
specifically mentioned Friday and stated.
“On this day, no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something
but Allah would grant him it” and he made a gesture with his hands
to illustrate how brief that time is. [852 Muslim, 893 Bukhari]

4. Taking a Bath (Ghusl)

By viewing Ghusl, one can completely clean up and refine oneself (great bathing).
“I heard the Messenger of Allah, PBUH, say: ‘When one of you desires
to come to Jumu’ah, let him perform Ghusl,” Abdullah canister Umar (R.A) stated.

In this way, the significant regard for Friday is evident from the previously cited Hadith
which states that in addition to ordinary washing,
one must also conduct more bathing while showering.

5. Putting on clean clothes, brushing one’s teeth, and
applying perfume (nonalcoholic scent)

Remember when you had that big event and you spent hours in the restroom
scrubbing every inch of your body and applying every type of scent
That is exactly how you should prepare for Jumuah! Wash up and
follow the Sunan Al instructions, and Fitra such as clipping nails,
removing hair from armpits and removing pubic hair, and putting on a lot of perfume.
Make sure your Jumuah thobe or clothing is immaculate, squeezed, and
not anything you wore two days ago that has been recolored or folded
Also, pay special attention to dental hygiene: brush your teeth for the
recommended 4 minutes, use alcohol-free mouthwash, and miswak/siwak.
I witness that Allah’s Messenger said,
‘The taking of a bath on Friday is necessary for every Muslim who has reached
the age of puberty, as is the cleaning of teeth with Siwak and the use of perfume,
if accessible.’ [Sahih Bukhari’s] translation

6. Early Arrival at The House Of Allah

No, I do not mean ten minutes before the Khateeb enters the mosque,
however rather 2 or 3 hours before the Khateeb enters the mosque, and
if the mosque is not too far-flung, try and go there leisurely try
and arrive 1st and keep in mind the subsequent hadeeth:

‘When it’s Jumuah, the Angels stand at the gate of the mosque and
keep on writing the names of the individuals coming back to the mosque
so as of their arrivals,’ Allah’s traveler expressed.

7. Friday Evening Prayer

“O you who believe (Muslims),” says Allah (interpretation of the meaning).
Come to the remembrance of Allaah [Jumu’ah religious talk (Khutbah) and
Salaah (prayer)] on Friday (Jumu’ah prayer) when the call for Salaah (prayer) is proclaimed
It would be better for you if you did, but you should
know” [al-Jumu’ah 62:9] [al-Jumu’ah 62:9] [al-Jumu’

8. Sending the Prophet Muhammad a lot of blessings (PBUH)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is believed to have
remarked to Aws ibn Aws, “The best of your days is Friday.”
On that day, Adam was created, he died, the Trumpet will be blown, and
all of creation will swoon. So send many blessings my way, and
your blessings will be returned to you.”10 Things You Must Do During Jummah (Friday Prayer)
“How would our blessings be shown to you when you have gone to dust,
O Messenger of Allaah?” they asked. 10 Things You Must Do During Jummah (Friday Prayer)
“Allah forbids the earth from devouring the bodies of the
Prophets, peace be upon them,” he stated.

Ibn al-Qayyim classified it as Saheeh in his comments
on Sunan Abi Dawood, 4/273; al-Albaani classified it as Saheeh in Saheeh Abi Dawood, 925.

9. Strolling to the Mosque

Strolling toward the mosque results in the attainment of gifts on one level
and the forgiveness of sins on another.
Abu Hurairah (R.A) portrayed Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) speaking in the following ways:
“Whoever purifies (performs Wudu’) himself at home and
then walks to one of Allah’s dwellings (mosque) for an obligatory Salat,
one step will wash away his sins and another step will improve his rank
(in Jannah,” Abu Hurairah remarked (R.A). (Muslim)

10. Paying close attention to the Jummah Khutba (Sermon)

“Whoever says to his companion when the Imam is delivering
the Khutbah on Friday “be quiet” likewise commits
an absurdity.” (Muslim and Bukhari)
